Fire Prevention Plans
Fire Prevention Plans are currently being phased in by the Environment Agency. Eventually all permitted waste sites storing and handling combustible waste will require one. At CMC Environmental we offer a bespoke service to write a tailor-made Fire Prevention Plan for your site.
Permitting
Should you be applying for a new permit or varying an existing one we can offer all the advice needed to ensure your application runs smoothly. We can prepare and submit applications and associated documentation for you whilst liaising with the necessary authorities. We have a good relationship with the Environment Agency.
Management Systems
An Environmental Management System is an important part of your permit and is required to be submitted to the Environment Agency. We can write, update and review your Environment Management System and offer advice to ensure all aspects of your permit and current legislation are complied with.
Duty of Care
Duty of Care legislation is there to ensure anyone who treats, keeps, carries and disposes of controlled waste does so responsibly and legally. We can advise and take care of all the associated paperwork including transfer notes and hazardous waste consignment notes making sure they contain the correct and legal information.
Site Auditing
We can carry out a full audit of your site and provide advice on improving compliance with your permit. We can implement any changes that may be needed, liaise with the Environment Agency on your behalf and update any documents associated with your permit to reflect the changes.
Amenity Solutions
As part of your permit you may need to produce an Odour Management Plan or a Noise Management Plan for example. We can take care of this for you leaving you free to run your business.
