Claire Cowdrey - Principal Consultant
Hi! My name is Claire Cowdrey, Principle Consultant and Director of CMC Environmental. I worked for the Environment Agency for over 13 years as an Environment Officer regulating permitted waste sites and for the last 5 years as a Waste Regulatory Specialist. I have been involved with the waste industry for the majority of my career and maintain strong links with the Environment Agency.
I have a degree in Environmental Protection as well as being a Chartered Waste Manager with the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management (CIWM). I sit on the steering group for the CIWM Wessex New Member’s Network where we plan and hold events throughout the year. I was the Lead for the Environment Agency in Wessex on Fire Prevention Plans.
